The21st century is called "leisure time"."Leisure" for the importance of improving quality of life has been generally recognized by the people."Leisure" is also increasingly received the attention of academia. With the progress of social civilization and the development of economic and education, the disabled have the right to the pursuit of the quality of leisure life, which is drawing more and more attention. Domestic researchers have made some research on students’ management of leisure time and leisure activities, but few people studied the leisure life of people with disabilities, especially the leisure life of hearing impaired high school students. The objects of this study are hearing impaired high school students. This study has made objective analysis of the current situation and problems of their leisure life and attribution analysis. On this basis, some advice of improving the quality of their leisure lives is given.By searching reference documents, and combing the basic theory of leisure and recreational life of hearing impaired high school students, the study uses random sampling and interviewing methods to explore the leisure life of hearing impaired high school students. This research results indicate:1.The hearing impaired students’leisure time is uneven at different stages. They don’t have enough time every day from Monday to Friday at school, but too much on weekends and in the holidays.2. Their leisure time is unplanned and lack of guidance. So they lack overall planning programs in the leisure life.3. The hearing impaired high school students’peer choice of leisure activities is narrow, and generally tend to take individual activities and play with people who are most familiar with, such as students, parents, and so on.4. Hearing impaired high school students are aware of the importance of leisure life, but the actual quality of leisure life is not high. According to the attribution analysis of the problems of hearing impaired high school students’leisure life, I come to the following conclusions:1. Hearing impaired high school students’ self-psychological characteristics as well as the ways of communication affect the quality of life their leisure life;2. Special schools pay insufficient attention to these students’ leisure life and awareness of leisure education in these schools is weak.3. The places where the students come from, the economic situation of their family economic situation, and the value of rearing methods affect the leisure life of hearing impaired high school students to some degree.4. Environmental factors, such as leisure facilities, recreational equipment and provision of equipment, transport facilitation, and other aspects influence the hearing impaired high school students participating in leisure activities.According to the combination of contemporary social and educational background and the characteristics of hearing impaired high school students, educational countermeasures in this paper is to provide education strategies to improve the quality of the hearing impaired high school students’leisure life.1. Special education schools should value the importance of leisure education, clear the education goals, add courses of leisure education and make a good environmental construction of campus leisure education.2. Special education schools should get in touch with parents and the society; Parents and the society are encouraged to give students with hearing impairment more guidance on the planning of leisure life.3. Hearing impaired high school students should establish an active, rational and scientific concept of leisure and enhance their skills of leisure activities.
