The research makes a survey on our country's Hearing-impaired university students'life status by the way of revising questionnaire. The Core indicators of our country's hearing-impaired university students'quality of life is extracted from two different aspects: the realistic and the ideal .At the same time, it deeply analyses the factors that hold up the improvement of those students'quality of life. On that basis, it puts forward suggestions on building the quality of life support system for the Hearing-impaired university students.R. Schalock, a famous American special education expert, by revising his questionnaire which is called the questionnaire of cross-cultural life quality indicators (the version of mentally retardation)", our research tool,"the questionnaire of hearing-impaired students'quality of life"come into being. The questionnaire is divided into two sub-tests, they are used to investigate hearing-impaired students'judgment on satisfaction of life of all fields and importance of life of all fields. After reliability and validity testing, it result shows that the two questionnaires have good validity and high homogeneity reliability. In the study, the samples are chosen from six institutions of higher learning of six part of our country. Totally 238 hearing-impaired students are chosen as an official test object.The study come to the following conclusions: (1) The present situation of our country's hearing-impaired students'quality of life: Firstly, overall, our country's hearing-impaired students are satisfied with their present lives. The samples which scores reach satisfied and very satisfied take up 76.5% of the total sample. Secondly, in the real level of core indicators, hearing-impaired students'satisfaction of healthy condition is highest while lowest of learning and campus life. Third, the demographic characteristics such as: gender, grade, degree of hearing loss, the main contact persons and so on, these demographic characteristics'influence on the hearing-impaired students'life satisfaction is not significant. (2) Some core indicators about Hearing-impaired students'life quality. Firstly, in the realistic level, the hearing-impaired students'quality of life consists of five core indicators. Through the confirmatory factor analysis we find that the five core indicators are stable. According to the satisfaction from high to low are: health status, self-determination, social inclusion, rights, academic and campus life. Secondly, hearing-impaired students'quality of life at the ideal level includes four core indicators. Through confirmatory factor analysis showed that the four core indicators are stable. According to their importance from high to low are: independence, interpersonal relationships, academic and campus life experience, and material life. Thirdly, after comparing and extracting, we found that the capacity of individuals and ways to cope with life, and health, as well as the listener interaction studies at the two levels have been seen as a core element of hearing-impaired students'quality of life. (3) The factors that hold up the improvement of college hearing-impaired students'quality of life which mainly includes the academic pressure, the inconvenience campus environment of learning and living, employment difficultly, the difficult interactions with the health person. (4)The recommendations for hearing-impaired students to build their life support system. Mainly include the following recommendations: First, try to create a harmonious campus atmosphere; second, provide diversified teaching; third, provide learning support; fourth, actively carry out career guidance and occupational planning education; fifth, carry out diversified psychological counseling frequently.
