The Research Of Project-oriented Management Of Social Work Service

A bigger number of social work organization and a wider range of social work service are the products of the advancing of professionalism of social work along with which the problems of limited resource and multiple requirements of service objects highlight. And the used way of social work can no longer meet the current needs of service objects in the new reality. However the idea and technique of project management instill new vitality into social work management. The advancing of professionalism of social work focus on how to penetrate this vigour into social work service to establish an idiomatical module of social work service project-oriented management, to suit the change of social environments and complicated requirements of service objects and to achieve the goal of social work service by project-oriented management. The project-oriented management of social work service has become a trend and the introduction of idea and approach of it contributes to improve the effects of social work service.By looking into the development process and trend of social work industry and inferring to the recent condition of domestic and overseas project management, this thesis triggers the theme:the research of project-oriented management of social work service. Through the introduction of the sense of project and project management and other information of project, this thesis not only points out the problems that lie in the function of social work:the rounded system of strategy of social work management is not perfect; the organizational structure of social work service is not sound and some factors restricts the development of professionalism of social work, but also points out the value of project to the development of social work development:project pushes the growth of social work organization; project offers an effective platform for social work organization to make full use of outside resource; project inspires the stuff and project does good to the establishment and maintenance of image of social work organization. And this thesis expounds the project-oriented management of social work organization by establishing the module of social work service project-oriented management. What’s more this thesis takes the case of Summer Public Welfare Activities for Caring for the Children of Constructers in ShenZhen by Longgang district as an example to do an applied research about social work project-oriented management. And this research mainly introduces analytical method of SWOT, project-oriented management of organizational structure, work breakdown structure, responsibility assignment matrix and so on and analyses the problems and countermeasures in the application of social work service project-oriented management.This thesis did a research on the project-oriented management of social work and it’s expected that through this research project-oriented management in social work service can be paid more attention and applied more deeply, and then the professionalism of social work would develop in a healthy way.
