School assignment is as a shadow with learning, they are inseparable and concomitant. As the mainfront of carrying out the teaching, classroom-teaching has always been cared by a number of educators andresearchers; but rarely, the school assignment is carefully noted by them. However, learning is not onlyrelated with classroom-teaching, design and completion but also are very important pars of learning, evenmore important. Some studies have shown that the reasonable assignment can help students gainknowledge, improve skills, and it is an important process for students to mastery. A rational designing canadd and extend the teaching, reflect the educational philosophy of the new curriculum, and promote thestudents’ self-development. It is the effective ways to reach the three-dimensional targets that designing andaccomplishing the school job.As the intersection of teaching and learning, chemical assignments is a practice for students toconsolidate the knowledge, develop the thinking-ability, and cultivate the emotion. It is the means forteachers to supervise, check and comprehend the teaching effectiveness. It is an important way to controland regulate the teaching. We can not only check the teaching results, but also enhance students’understanding and using. The assignment can train chemical-skills, inquiry-ability and innovation. It alsohelps students explore the methods of acquiring knowledge, and experience the process of formattingknowledge.It is booming to implement the new curriculum reform. It provides a broad background and stage forassignment-designing. The new curriculum requires to respect and meet the needs of every students,through a reasonable choice of teaching strategies and methods, using manufacture, real life to broadenstudents’ horizons, lighten the characteristics of chemistry, emphasis on inquiry learning activities. The newcurriculum requirements to respect and meet the needs of the students’ development, a reasonable choice ofteaching strategies and teaching methods, the associated manufacturing, real life to broaden students’horizons, highlighting the characteristics of chemistry, emphasis on inquiry learning activities, developstudents’ scientific inquiry ability. To implement the new curriculum proposed by these requirements, onlydepending on a limited number of classroom teaching is not enough, for which we are required to take full advantages of the time of the Classroom, in particular actively opened up outside the classroom, scientificand rational designed job, so that the students’ work can also become an important part of reaching the newcurriculum’s goals. Due to some various reasons, however, the chemical assignment is still in the shacklesof the tradition. It is in urgent need to change because of lagging concept and numerous problems.Based on my own basis, I have tried to combine the theories and practices in designing theassignment.I briefly discuss the origin, the purpose, the significance and the methods, introduce the background ofthe study in the first part.I define some related conceptions in the second part, and elaborate some representative theoreticalbasis, such as the theory of humanism, the theory of cognitive and migration, the theory of multipleintelligences, and so on, provide the necessary theoretical support for my study.On the basis of studying literature, in the third part, I carried out some questionnaires. After analyzing,I find some problems that exist in the current. I find the focal point and the growing point, and point out thedirection of the study.In the forth part, firstly, I review some important features of the current chemical assignment, thenafter analyzing the questions, I propose some important requirements under the background of the newcurriculum.It is the core of this paper in part V. I conduct some practices, and analyze the effectiveness. Thepractice is some attempts in teaching. The effectiveness is the analysis of the assignment in teaching andlearning. Through the implementation of homework design, I find that it can promote students’ activeparticipation in constructing knowledge, develop some good interests in learning, improve students’achievement, promote students’ multiple abilities, contribute to students’ emotional attitude and the overalldevelopment and personality development of students through the assignment design. Reflecting the NewCurriculum "teachers-leading, students-centering", make a contribution to the implementation of the NewCurriculum proposed three-dimensional goals of raising the overall quality of students; make a contributionto the overall development of students and the development of personality; and it will help reduce theburden on teachers and students to improve the quality of teaching. At the end of this paper, I point out theinadequacies of this study, analyze some problems existing in designing, and prospect the future of this study.Learning is endless, and the assignment will never be end, so it is a forever study of assignmentdesign.
