Moral education stands the core position in Chinese tradition. Among the5000-year history of China,The traditional sense of morality has deeply influenced our thoughts and lives both in feudal society andcontemporary society. The traditional sense of morality is the soul of Chinese civilization, the culturalaccumulation of Chinese history, the national characters forming by generations’ practice and the bind ofpeople’s thoughts and behaviors.Students in middle school are the future of China. The Development of our country depends largely onthem. For the above reasons, the Moral education of middle school students is vital. In the traditionalsession of education, moral education is always lies in the core position. However, there is a huge contrastbetween the current situation and the traditional education; the main reason can be concluded that moraleducation has been ignored in current education mode. What we should do now is to put more energy onmoral education which on the one hand, can help to enhance the moral standards and personal integrity ofmiddle school students, on the other hand can help to flourish the traditional Chinese cultural.The essay is divided into3parts:The first part is mainly about the concept, content and characteristics of Chinese traditional moraleducation, as well as the inheritance of the Chinese traditional moral education,which can be divided intothree aspects: social ethics, family ethics and personal integrity;the5characteristics of Chinese traditional moral education are: the emphasize of the overall spirit, thepraise of the "goodwill", the promotion of the value of humanity, the pursuit of the spiritual realm; thetraining of high-level personality.The second part stresses the status quo and the reasons of the current situation of middle schoolstudents’ moral education. The current situation is discussed in five areas:"utilitarian”,"hedonism","impetuous"“lack of ideals”,“lack of responsibility".the main reasons are: the problems in the currentmoral education, the impact of Western culture on the traditional moral culture, and the traditional moralityproblems.The third part is about the basic ideas on the students’ traditional moral education. that is"individualized","Moral Education for the first”,”self-control”" introspection Maintenance ". The focus of this essay is on passing on the good part of Chinese Traditional Moral Education,analyzing the students’ moral status and improving the moral standards. Through ways of "individualized","Moral Education for the first”,“self-control”" introspection Maintenance ", we could improve the ways ofmoral education on the students, and do better in moral education.
