"The high school chemistry course standard "put forward a clear criteria, that is we should depend ona variety of exploration activities mainly by chemical experiment, in order to make students to experiencethe process of scientific research, stimulate the interest of studying chemistry, strengthen the scientificresearch consciousness, promote the shift of learning style, and cultivate students’ innovative spirit andpractice ability in the daily life.So the model of zetetic experiment teaching in high school chemistry is imperative. The so-calledzetetic experiment teaching is a kind of special teaching form, which is under the guidance of teachers andviews the experiments of "scientific inquiry"in teaching material as basic contents, and students solve theproblems in experimental method in the teaching form. This paper is such a study of the practice ofexploring experimental research from the following several aspects:The first part, the raise of the problem. First of all, exploring experimental teaching’s necessity andfeasibility is discussed from the importance of chemical experiment and the existing problems, and also theinquiry teaching research situation at home and abroad is analyzed.The second part, the theory section. First introduces the concept of exploring experimental teaching,and then introduced the zetetic experiment teaching psychology and pedagogy basis.The third part, the center of this paper, that is the effective implementation of exploring experimentalteaching in high school chemistry class. It first introduces the three cases of exploring experimentalteaching. And then by analyzing the student’s interview, questionnaire survey and student performance andso on, it indicates that the investigating experiment teaching does improve classroom teaching quality, thestudents’ learning achievement, study interest, communication, cooperation ability and cooperationconsciousness.The fourth part, gains and reflections. This part states some harvest and reflections after the inquirylearning.In the process of chemistry teaching implementation of explorative study, also has the very big development space. And speeding up the implementation of the inquiry learning in the middle schoolteaching,still has a long way to go.
