Chemistry is a natural science based on experiments.this feature determines the chemistry experiment is both an important part of chemistry course, but also an important means of learning science.and chemistry experiment also enables students to achieve scientific literacy and the overall development and other effects.Thus, the chemical experiment teaching plays an important role in chemistry teaching, Its importance and irreplaceable role.2003, the new curriculum being implemented in the country since the theory and practice of research on the background of the new curriculum Chemistry Experiment Teaching lot, but much less specific theoretical practice research studies; multi investigate the combination of research and practice less so on. Under this situation, the author carried out chemistry experiment teaching the new curriculum and teaching practices in areas of Xiantao. Paper is divided into the following sections:The first part is a Literature Review, The new chemistry curriculum theory and related literature were studied in this section, grasp theory of the new curriculum Chemistry Experiment and the status of domestic and foreign related research. Against research status presented the purpose and significance of study at the second part. The third part is the status of the research areas of chemistry experiment survey, Investigated the chemistry experiment teaching status quo under the new curriculum by two questionnaires,grasp the situation and problems of teaching chemistry experiment Xiantao. Show:experimental teaching resource scarcity, experimental teaching theories of teachers inadequate, teaching and evaluation methods behind, students experiment habits and the ability to experiment is still lacking. For this situation, the authors analyzed the underlying reasons and put forward corresponding recommendations, and expand the teaching practice. The fourth part is teaching practice, mainly from two aspects to carry out regular investigations to study and develop students’experiments habits, comparative study experimental classes and control classes change before the experiment and after the experiment. The study found:In accordance with the requirements of implementing the new curriculum teaching experiment, carried out on a regular basis and purpose of the experiment to explore students’ experiments habits for students interested in learning experiments and experimental habits have improved significantly effect the quality of experimental inquiry capabilities and many non-intellectual aspects significantly improved. The fifth part is the total discussion by summarizing the status of the investigation and practice of Xiantao school chemistry experiment teaching some suggestions.
