The adaptability of the new curriculum has become an important factor toinfluence and restrict the new curriculum reform, which the teachers’ adaptabilityhas become one of the hotspots of the Curriculum and teaching research. From thefall of2010, there has opened a prelude to the new high school curriculum reformin Chongqing province. The teachers are the necessary conditions to promote theimplementation of curriculum reform and play a key role in the process ofimplementation of the curriculum reform. They also play a key role in its high andlow degree of adaptability to the new curriculum reform of a regional high schoolcurriculum reform. This paper is based on sorting out the existing relevant research,which defines and analyses the concept of "new course","adaption" and "adaptive".This paper makes a detailed fieldwork about the adaptability of the teachers to thenew curriculum reform in a Pillars Tujia Autonomous County High School. Forthat we can help to understand the new curriculum reform situation of the ethnicregion of Southeast High School in Chongqing city, to clarify the main issues ofthe teachers ’ adaptability to the new curriculum reform of national Senior HighSchool. There to discuss the objective reasons about main problems, and from twoaspects of the internal and external to make a thinking of improving the teachers ’adaptability to the senior high school curriculum reform.From the fieldinvestigation, we can find that the implementation of the new curriculum reform inhigh school of two years, the ethnic area high school teachers actively response thecall for new curriculum reform of our country and Chongqing city, show a certaindegree of adaptability, for that it help to drive up the process of new curriculumreform. At the same time, the author also finds that, in face of the new curriculumreform, the teacher who are in adaptation in the psychological, knowledge andability to the new curriculum reform. With regard to this, in general, it directlyaffects and restricts the further development of the new curriculum reform.Therefore, the author attempts to make a deep thinking about the factors to theteachers who can not adapt to the new course.
