Coupled with the gradual popularization of China’s higher education, it has become one of the major concerns of all institutions of higher learning to study how to ensure the graduates qualities. Apart from supplying on-campus students with superior professional education, comprehensive careers guidance is also indispensable. Above all, one of the principal contradictions is the challenging situation for graduates to obtain employment in today’s domestic labor market. As a result, it is the joint responsibility for graduates to maximize the realization of obtaining employment successfully. As one of the frontier disciplines, educational technology should not only pay close attention to the on-campus students’learning process, but also attach importance to graduates’future employment as well as their occupational advancement.This project or rather dissertation, thus, has conducted a corresponding research, which is based on the relevant theory of careers guidance and the realistic requirements of China’s domestic labor market. This dissertation, in accordance with the purpose of providing graduates with the related guidance and services, designs, studies and develops a college student occupational&careers guidance system by means of educational technology. This system could be used both as an addition to college students’extracurricular careers guidance courses and as an auxiliary system center in the field of careers guidance at all colleges and universities. This system offers relevant services of three categories as follows: the first one, services of obtaining careers information resources. The second one, services of careers guidance testing. The third one, services of interpersonal communication. By means of adopting this system, firstly, college graduates could not only obtain the hiring information of employing units but also get access to the specific requirements of respective work positions. Secondly, the careers guidance test could assess the objective prerequisites of graduates which are embodied via their resumes. Thirdly, graduates’occupational aptitudes could also be measured. Fourthly, graduates’professional levels as well as occupational attainments which are reflected via job interviews could also be measured and observed comprehensively.The comprehensive measurement of the four sections mentioned above could supply college graduates or rather job applicants with reference suggestions on the matching degrees between the posts that they apply for and their own qualifications (i.e. the probabilities of their successful applications). By way of using the common communicative functions, college graduates could discuss the relevant issues on their careers prospects as well as their occupational expectations. At the same time, this practical system could also provide college graduates with a prevalent platform to showcase their respective micro-blogs. Therefore, these graduates may spread their individual charisma and their comprehensive rich talent to their heart’s content.MVC and B/S modes are chosen to conduct software architecture and ASP.NET is chosen to develop the communicative platform. Besides, the C#language is adopted to develop and realize this system.
