With the continuing deepening of the new curriculum reform of high school, making full use of curriculum resources to mobilize students’ learning enthusiasm and initiative of history, and promoting the comprehensive and coordinated development of the students become all teachers’consensus. As a kind of important curriculum resources, local history is closely linked to students. Permeating local history in high school history teaching, combining this area local history curriculum resources with high school history teaching material together,which is beneficial to the students master the basic knowledge of history, promote history learning ability and cultivate humanistic literacy in live history learning. It is also beneficial to the teachers complete history teaching goal better, promote the reform of history curriculum more positively.This paper will be divided into three parts:The first part is mainly about the significance of permeating local history in high school history teaching.This paper argues that local history is beneficial to cultivating students’ strong interest and intuitive feeling in history learning, also cultivating students’ patriotic spirit, improving students’ humanistic literacy.The second part is mainly about the practicing and exploring in local history permeating in high school history teaching. Based on the analysis of the data obtained in the questionnaire, to know that we should follow the principles of subsidiarity, accuracy, comprehensive and objectivity on permeating local history in high school history teaching by a lesson of teaching practice.The third part is mainly about several thoughts on permeating local history in high school history teaching:Promoting high school students’local history knowledge; Teachers’ theory shortages on permeating local history in high school history teaching; Teachers’ practical shortages on permeating local history in high school history teaching.
