Suhomlinski said:"The education that promotes self-education is the real education". As the main part of the education, school education should have purpose and plans to train students systematically to have noble morality, perfect personality and genuine ability and learning. They not only can adapt to the modern society needs, but also can face the challenges of the society in the future. So, if we try to improve the ability of the students’self-education, they can benefit from it a lot and it is meaningful.This essay tries to analyze the features, the significance and the current situations of the middle school students’self-education to investigate how to integrate school, family and the society to promote the development of students’self-education. Also, it tries to analyze the things that our school has done to find out the good ways and good methods to put the middle school students’self-education into practice. The school should change the ways of training students and the parents should improve their abilities of bringing up the children. The school and the parents should try to create a suitable environment for students’self-education in order to make students know what the self-education is. From the above we can know that the family education, the school education and the society education have significant effect on the middle school students’self-education. The fine outside environment is a prerequisite for promoting students’self-education with guarantee; healthy body and psychological quality will promote the development of the students’self-education.
