| Since the Ministry of Civil Affairs put forward the concept of’Community construction’ in1991, the construction of community in China has been carried out for several decades and it had got great achievements. Due to the short construction time, the unreasonable division of labor and the frail sense of identity of construction of community of relative residents and so on, there still exist many deficiencies in the city community construction. In order to solve these problems in the process of construction, the government continues to carry out the reform of the management system. In2006it began to establish the pilot area of community construction, and drew the social work into the community to promote the further development of community construction.This paper take the four villages’community, which in Dongguan, Guangdong province, as the research object and analyses further how the social work is to be intervened in four villages’community and how the social workers apply the social work ideas and methods into the process of the construction of the four villages’community. The paper concludes and summarizes the basic experience of social work in the application and integration of community construction, introduces them to the social workers in order to help them play better of social work in the community construction process, thus promoting the community development.This paper is divided into four parts:the first part focuses on the analysis of necessity of the social work idea and method in the community construction; the second part takes the four villages’community of Tangxia town as a case to analyse the integration of social work ideas and methods in the specific process in the four villages’ community; the third part is a discussion and summary about the main achievements and the existing difficulties and problems that in the process of construction of the four villages’community and puts forward some suggestions and thoughts; the last part is a conclusion of the article. |
