In recent years communication is becoming more and more frequent across the Taiwan strait. Under the trend in good communication skills, on both sides of the Taiwan straits belong to the same culture. And in the nine years of compulsory education also have the same development philosophy. The curriculum standard is the basis of curriculum implementation. It is the curriculum rationale, course objectives, content and evaluation of Learning of the guidance documents. Because of years cross-strait, there are certain differences between Taiwan and mainland in the education concept. Understanding the culture of Taiwan, how to combine with the culture of both sides of the Taiwan straits is the pressing needs of the cross-strait education workers.This article begin with the education background on both sides of the Taiwan straits. Firstly discussing the evolution and status of compulsory education on both sides of the Taiwan straits.After that the certain concept has been established. The researcher place emphasis on two documents about the physical education and health course standard (compendium)of junior high school between Taiwan and mainland. There are different characterizations in the curriculum rationale, course objectives, education level division, teaching material, learning content and course evaluations have been prescriptived. And proceed with contrast studies. Make a comparison between the frameworks of the physical education and health course standard (compendium)of junior high school on both sides of the Taiwan straits. I hope this article will help to the course arrangement of the physical education and health course in mainland. Through comparison, we can put forward that following reference opinions:1、Understanding the basic concept connotation of physical education and health course. Make the standard of nine-year compulsory education of mainland to be going somewhere with hommization, oriented-life style, appropriating to the students..2、The standard of nine-year compulsory education of mainland need toformulate the basic ability index more and more detailed and fall the job to real point. This can be detected students will have the basic skills through the capacity index. In order to achieve the course objectives.3、The assessment method of the standard of nine-year compulsory education in Taiwan, there are formative evaluation and summative evaluation. The evaluation of time of the standard of nine-year compulsory education in mainland is too single. We should make the time flexibility arrangement and assessment method diversity.
