In September 2001, the eight times of the basic education curriculum reform officially launched in China,this is the first larger curriculum reform since the founding. The curriculum reform radiated to the curriculum goal, curriculum content, classroom instruction and the students'study methods at all levels. In 1998, the Taiwan Ministry of Education issued a "national curriculum reform in primary and secondary schools ", opened a system screen of the nine-year curriculum reform. With the reforms, the middle school math teaching objectives, teaching content, textbooks and methods have undergone tremendous changes. The Comparative Study on the two sides of Mathematics Curriculum has been some success internally, but most of them were staying at the macro side.In this study, we contrast the mainland and Taiwan on the curriculum standards for middle school math and the textbook of the mainland version of the North Division and the version of Taiwan HLE textbook. This study is on the analysis of the " Number and Algebraic " of Middle school math for two places of the goal of the curriculum, textbooks and curriculum content to the presentation of specific knowledge and points to similarities and differences, by the following basicconclusions:First, the content of the course is different in the two places."The number of algebra" part of the mathematics of the junior high school is basically the same from a macro view in the mainland and Taiwan. With the use of content analysis, literature and comparative law compared HLE to the North there is only the contents of "series and the series" different. The two versions of the textbooks include the number and type, equations and inequalities, function of several parts. However, in these contents there are some different points of individual knowledge.Second, the knowledge points presented in different ways in the two places.From this point of the analysis of knowledge can be seen that the HLE version of Taiwan is a typical textbook-style presentation straight up to the theme-based teaching methods that focus on the part of the contents of schedule, at the junior secondary level. First of all, we learn the content of algebra, and then study geometry, learn the knowledge of statistics and probability at last. North Division version of the contents of various fields interspersed arrangement, each book contains four parts of the content, the North Division try to adopt easy-to-digest version of the textbook, progressive step by step, gradually spiral manner on the knowledge. HLE version is based on a meaningful way to accept a different type of knowledge points, and the North Division version is based on the way to solve the problem of scheduling, especially in the handling of the concept of law, the two versions are very different materials.Third, the difficulty, the time and the breadth of the various parts are different.This article compared and analyzed the contents of several aspects of the number system, fractional, equations and inequalities, function. Concluded that part of the contents of the two versions is very different.Number system, the more difficult version of the North division is greater than the difficulty of HLE version, but the hours are not used in more than HLE version, version of the North Division with 28 hours and 43 hours HLE version, because a lot of content HLE edition are the North primary school teacher learning content, so the Northern Division of the many version of the concept and awareness of points are not HLE version, for example: rational numbers, real number, cube root and so on.Equations and inequalities, the two versions are very close to the various aspects of the textbook, the difficulty and breadth of class is basically the same. North Division version of a function, quadratic function of the images and the application of the requirements of the requirements of version higher than the HLE, HLE version of inverse proportion function is not the content, function version of the shared part of the North division, 30 hours, and 17 hours of shared HLE version.Conclusion of the study in accordance with this article, the authors put forward to improve middle school mathematics in the mainland, "the number and algebra," of the curriculum, teaching materials and a number of recommendations on the Taiwan Junior High School Mathematics "number algebra" courses, textbooks HLE version envisaged improvements.
