Along with the deepening of reform and opening up and development of the socialist market economy, China has entered a period of social transformation insurmountable. China’s social structure, social interests and modes of distribution of diversification, diversification of ideology tend to become increasingly evident, and abroad a wide range of social thought and ideas also will be infiltrated, science and non-scientific, mainstream and non mainstream ideas co-exist, caused by people, especially young student’s ideas of conflict and change. Social transformation brought about by a series of contradictions and problems, news and propaganda work of the university has raised a serious challenge, a new challenge to managers and practitioners of every college journalism.Reform and opening up more than30years, China’s private education from scratch, from small to large, have made great progress has been an important part of the cause of higher education in China. Have made great progress in school number, school the way, school level, has made remarkable achievements. News and propaganda work has an extremely important position in the ideological and political education work, and play an increasingly important role in the reform and development of private universities. Private universities play the role of news and propaganda guidance of public opinion, the positive publicity efforts to foster advanced models, interpretation of the education policy, and guide public opinion analysis, has become one of the schools to carry out ideological and political education, rallying the main channel. At the same time, press and propaganda work is also in schools external publicity, and an important platform for expanding school popularity and reputation. Private colleges and universities as China’s reform and opening up, the higher education system constantly new things, in view of the particularity of its school system and school history is not long, do a good job in journalism and propaganda work in the new situation in promoting school reform and development important practical significance.This paper takes pubic administration theory as the instruction, use of standardized analysis and investigation of the copy, the empirical analysis of a variety of methods, of the problems and contradictions of China’s social transformation of private universities in the press and propaganda, combined with the successful experience of the Yellow River Institute of Technology news and propaganda work on improving of Private college of journalism and propaganda system made a series of countermeasures and suggestions to make their own power, in order to reform and innovation in the private colleges of journalism and propaganda work mechanism, and explore a new model of journalism and propaganda work.The full paper covers three main parts.The first main part of the private colleges of journalism and propaganda system concepts and theories to explain and define its constituent elements and operation of tools to analyze the importance of Private Universities Press publicity for the university management.The second main part and the third main part of the focus of this article, which, the second main part of the Yellow River Institute of Technology, for example, analyze and summarize the development status of the private colleges of journalism and propaganda system, specific analysis of the effectiveness of its operation and problems, and the cause of the problem analysis; third main part of the problems mentioned above to strengthen the organization, strengthen the public functions of the press and propaganda, the service of the overall situation of school work, the formation of a correct public opinion-oriented, do a good job of human resources development, construction high-quality news planning and editorial team have given suggestions, trying to explore a new model of university press and propaganda work.The innovation of this paper is mainly reflected in two aspects:First, fresh perspective.
