Research On The Construction Of Sports Culture In Higher Vocational Schools

Sports and cultural development is an important component part in higher vocationalcolleges. It also implements the quality education，cultivates students’ lifelong sports sprit andhelp teachers to finishes the teaching tasks in schools. It has an irreplaceable function ineducating. Sports culture in schools is a special cultural form of education, it directly helps thestudents know the importance of sports activities and awareness of the impact in improving theoverall quality of students. Studying the characteristics and insights of sports and culturaldevelopment is the first must of sports and cultural development in higher vocational colleges.Secondly is to develop the cultural spirit of the school, improve the sports facilities and build upmanagement system of sports activities. Development of high levels of the sports teams is abreakthrough for creating a harmonious sports and cultural environment.This study will provide the important evidences in sports and cultural developmentthrough interview and mathematical statistics on sports and cultural development inInternational Education Park.The Result Proves That:1. The students in higher vocational colleges have certainconcept on physical education, but still need improving.2. Higher vocational colleges offerrelative single sports course, mainly with ball exercises, also can’t satisfy all the needs oftheir students, especially the needs of girls.3. Physical education mode in highervocational colleges is more traditional, single, not based on the characteristics of highervocational colleges.4. Organization construction, system construction and cultural environment construction in higher vocational colleges can’t keep up with the developmentof the school and social needs.Following suggestions are made:1. Higher vocational colleges should increase thesports facilities.2. To continue to update the idea, set up the value concept that sports is akind of cultural.3. To enrich the students’ extracurricular sports activities.4. To strengthenthe sports teaching.5. To increase the sports culture construction and publicity.
