Social capital is a muti-discipline research object, the subject from a differentperspective to the interpretation and discussion, it is able to cause general concern ofacademia and society at home and abroad, not only with the concept of social capitalitself interdisciplinary and unique explanatory power, while closely related to somereality with our society.Employment is the fundamental of People’s life,graduate employment is a verybroad, the subject is worth studying, graduate employment related to national stability,social peace, the happiness of thousands of families have also been widespread concernof the society, universities and parents. Domestic scholars on social capital and specificsocial groups (mainly the occupational mobility of migrant workers, vocational andundergraduate groups) process, the status of access to and maintain the "relationship"more social capital and employment of graduate groups included in the same theoreticalframework the analysis are rare. Taking the importance of social relations in China intoaccount, I believe that in the complex and volatile economic situation and the overallemployment of university graduate students is not optimistic about the context ofempirical research has a very positive practical significance of this issue.In this study, social capital as the main theoretical basis, the employment status ofthe part of the graduating graduate of S University survey, using SPSS and evaluationsoftware analysis tools, using a combination of theoretical assumptions and empiricalmethods to demonstrate the problem, which the statistical analysis is the key, and dataprocessing using grouping, classification and comparison of analysis methods. Byunderstanding the physical possession of the resources in the graduate network of socialrelations and the actual utilization of social capital in the course of employmentsituation, and further explore the personal characteristics and social support networks affect employment intentions and employment options; summed factor index of socialcapital their careers; Furthermore, I also borrowed psychology related to career decisionmaking self-efficacy measurement and analytic tools to further explore the impact ofsocial capital position graduating graduate employment psychological. Finally, theauthor in the basis of investigation and analysis of the corresponding countermeasuresand suggestions and hope to promote the graduate students is better able to accumulatetheir own social capital, thereby increasing the ability to obtain employmentinformation and job opportunities, and ultimately improve their employment situation.
