Research And Implementation Of Teaching Quality Monitoring Platform In Unniversities

In recent ten years, the scale of higher education has developed from the excellent education to mass education with the enrollment expansion in higher education institutions of China. The enrollment expansion of higher education in addition to expand the scale of running school, the other results are not so optimistic. We don’t have corresponding teacher strength, enough learning space and learning resources with an increase in the number of students. So it inevitably causes a decline in the quality of teaching. The decline of talent training quality will hinder the development of the whole country. So improving the teaching quality of higher education not only solids university’s lifeline, but also promotes the development of the whole country’s economy.Creating a sound quality monitoring and assurance system is an essential weapon to improve the teaching quality of higher education. The quality monitoring and assurance system consists of external assurance and internal controls. Starting from internal monitoring system of university, this thesis firstly introduces the research background and significance, reviews domestic and foreign research status of higher education monitoring and assurance system, studies and analyzes the relevant theories of this topic. Then this thesis makes a comparative study of teaching quality control and assurance system at home and abroad, analyzes their own characteristics, summarizes the shortages of our quality monitoring system at the present stage, and proposes the improvement opinions and suggestions. On the basis of the above work, this thesis builds a school-department two levels of the internal control system. Creating the teaching quality monitoring system of college under the guidance of improvement opinions and suggestions, it is used for the dynamically monitoring teaching quality of each college, using network as technology platform, real-time monitoring as operation characteristics, highlighting the service function. Then this thesis analyzes the function and performance requirements of internal monitoring system, and designs the main framework, functional modules and database of this system. The thesis designs system security from the aspects of database security and application security. At last, this thesis describes the core modules and their realizations of the system in detail after defining the system development environment.
