Chinese adolescent physique condition in recent years continued to show a downward trend.This situation has been paid more and more attention.In view of this situation.The government departments have already formulated a number of laws and regulations, designed to improve adolescent physique. Table tennis project in our country has a deep foundation of the masses, it win the majority of training persons with its own features.It can be a long stick of lifelong sports. Our country high school table tennis sport is very popular,but they are quite different. China’s rural high school has a large number of students, With the rural education has been paid further attention by the state, basic education of rural high school get unprecedented development, education facilities and teachers greatly improved.Length of be confined to, the article sincerely study from rural high school table tennis activities in Xi’an to seek the answer of the problem.Understanding and analysis the problems that rural high school table tennis activities in Xi’an encountered. It is suggested, in order to promote the project in rural middle school and implement the national education policy. Make some contribution to enhance students’ health and promote Competence education in rural areas.This paper mainly uses the literature data method, interview method, questionnaire survey method, mathematical statistics and other research methods.It took16full-time high school table tennis activities for example in Xi’an rural districts.The paper draws conclusions as follows:1Physical education teachers’ quality is better in Xi’an rural high schools, but they lack of high level table tennis teaching; PE teachers are much more interested in table tennis project, but they need to be further improved;2PE teachers lack of opportunities to go out to learn and exchange.They have fewer learning opportunities about table tennis project; Physical education teachers are active in further education and attend the business training; Their overall scientific research ability and level need to be further strengthened and improved, they are not good at table tennis;3Table tennis venues are relatively short.Its quality and quantity are not up to the teachers and students’ satisfactions, and most students generally do not have opportunities to play table tennis in indoors.4Physical education teachers and leaders don not play much attention to table tennis project; Table tennis courses are small, and too less class hours.The teaching is difficult to guarantee the good teaching effect; Teachers’ teaching methods are not flexible enough, and the lack of innovation in teaching means; Teachers and students seldom have opportunities to have table tennis competitions between schools or in communities, and they lack of opportunities to communicate the table tennis;5The schools and teachers are lack of awareness of the relation of unity and opposites between the learning tasks and table tennis activities; the students can’t handle the contradiction between table tennis activities and the learning tasks.
