As an important part of school management, educational administration has a direct impacton the teaching level and quality of an upgraded college, and on the quality of training students.Furthermore, colleges’educational administration management mode and that of universities hasmany differences, and even has many gaps in some aspects. So making educational managementmodel transformation well is a necessary work before upgrading for an upgraded college, anddirectly influences the survival and development of an upgraded college. In order to have a gooddevelopment prospect and upgrade smoothly, upgraded colleges must strengthen the educationaladministration management, and effectively improve the teaching quality and managerial benefit,and train qualified senior personnel for the society.With the approaches of literature, comparison, case study and so on, the study investigatesthe basic situation about the transition process of educational management model, andsubsequent construction and development of an upgraded college, Y Institute, comprehendsupgraded colleges’teaching management model at an early stage, finds out potential questionsthat exist, and analyzes the reasons for the potential problems. Catering to current newrequirements of the higher education, the study aims to seek countermeasures of educationaladministration model transition, so that it can improve the quality of educational administrationmanagement of the upgraded college effectively.This paper mainly examines the macroeconomic background of academic managementmodel transition of the upgraded colleges, introduces the development process of educationaladministration in Y Institute as an example, and describes its present development status. Itanalyzes the potential problems, its relevant reasons, and measures to be taken to solve theproblems in the process of educational management model transformation. Finally,it comes upwith countermeasures and suggestions for the upgraded college to deepen educationaladministration model transition through analyzing Y Institute which succeeded in upgrading.
