It’s requests that "vigorously develop vocational education" in China’s "12th Five-Year" Education Development Plan. Vocational education Faced with great opportunities for development in the new economic and social development situation. Vocational education is an important part of education, it shoulders the arduous task of training high-quality workers for the economic and social development. And Art vocational education has always been very important and very practical part of vocational education, the graduates who own the professional artistic ability could quickly integrate into the work. Along with the development, the Vocational College of Art from scratch, developed rapidly, and the school’scale expand. In recent years, China’s artistic disciplines enrollment and enrollment has maintained a rapid growth, but the scale of arts education in fast growth, China’s secondary vocational arts talent cultivation at a low level, it does not comply the law of development of cultivate with artistic talents. At the same time due to the characteristics of secondary vocational education students, there are great differences between the students, and the student’cultural qualities were uneven quality, This is particularly prominent in the Foundation Cultural subjects which continuity with basic education subjects. The universality reality-exist of the differences in vocational art school students caused that it is difficult to cultivate talents to meet the new socio-economic development needs of the situation under the traditional class unified teaching mode. By the mode of education reform in vocational art schools, make the vocational arts education play a more important role in our educational system, provide better service for building a modern vocational education system. All above is the urgent problems facing the development of vocational art school. According to Chongqing Art School’s teaching reform test, and the characters of China’s secondary school of Art, this paper analyzes the development and current situations of layered teaching practice home and abroad, discusses the necessity of schools’layered teaching practice as well as the strategy of this teaching practice. In addition, this paper conducts the investigation and analysis of this kind of practice, compares the students’scores, non-intelligent factors of layered teaching experimental class and the routine class, according to this, we find that the layered teaching practice is really an effective way to promote the school’s teaching quality, Layered teaching can also be good to enhance students’cognitive level, and promote student development. Chongqing Art School’reform experiment about Layered teaching has achieved good results. Finally, based on the Chongqing Art School’reform experiment about layered teaching, and combined with the experience of other schools in China. summarizes the problems that may occurred in the practice about layered teaching, and to address these issues to further proposed improvement measures to improve the Classified Teaching Model in the vocational art school.
