The educators, being studiers, combine instruction and the target by using "living sculpture art appreciation in high school textbook" practical courses. The purpose of study is to explore the strategy which is practical, valuable, and suitable for students showing key points and method of teaching. Through documents with its concerning with teaching research, the teacher study the concepts, contents and develop the strategy and living sculpture related with knowledge used in art class. Taking taxing yard as example teaching strategy designed as three units, the studier acted as study target from certain high school students including 32 persons in the western part of China, taking period of two terms as experiencing and testifying. Eventually the studier draw the conclusion as following:1.By using living sculpture appreciating art course is as part of design in the course. The part is used as teaching strategy being carried out in the course. The studier thinks living sculpture is form of contemporary art, in art subject and the development of art education altering, living sculpture apply in art education as well tool in art appreciation course.2. In integrate theories and realistic situations, the condition and the course are limited, the living sculpture employed in high school art appreciation is practical. During the activity of drawing, the students are active and enjoyable in experiencing; motivating students arouse interest in art. Teaching strategy and method are positive responsible as well art appreciation in design course, students enjoy knowledge and skills in art appreciation, the process and approach, emotion attitude and value will be improved.
