With the deepening of new curriculum reform in high school in China, the concept of new curriculum strikes root in the hearts of the people gradually, the teaching methods are more diversified and the teaching techniques are brought forth the new through the old. The teaching of historical materials is a method which is in accordance with the middle school students’characteristic and the psychological cognition level, coming into being with the opportunity of new curriculum reform. It has positive influence on promoting the teachers’scientific research ability, strengthening the history accomplishment and training the students’ability to inquire into history problems and so on.However, nowadays the historical materials teaching model is adopted widely by teachers, the teaching of historical materials still exists some slight defect even malpractice. During the educational probation and practice, the writer observed the use of written historical materials of some teachers, discovering following problems1.the teachers’intention of presenting the historical material is disconnected with the new curriculum standard2.the historical materials narrate is in deviation of curriculum center3.historical materials’inquisition doesn’t fit for the level of students. These are not good for the students’interests in history and the achievement of curriculum goal. Therefore, in view of the problems in the design and the arrangement of historical materials, the writer proposes some practical and feasible countermeasures in historical material teaching plans, namely the teachers may organize their own historical material and make plans referring to the establishment form of the written historical materials in history textbook.This research analyzes the written historical material in the part of Chinese History from the compulsory module in the edition of Yue Lu, the senior high school textbook. The writer combs carefully and evaluates the characteristic and the superiority of the historical materials establishment of this edition of textbook, and explains the historical materials’value in the textbook for teaching plans. Based on the classroom observation and the interview with the teachers and students, the writer tries to ponder and prove the scientificity and the rationality of the teachers to design their teaching referring to the establishment of historical materials in the textbooks. What’s more, the research aims to prove that the textbook has a great significance to inspire the teachers to design their teaching.This research aims to propose some references for those pre-history-teachers or new history teachers who are lack of teaching experiences in designing historical materials in teaching designs, hoping to find a reliable way for the teachers in teaching design.
