Music, as a kind of art, symbolizes the growing of human-beings’intellectual civilization. People can make communication with each other in ideas and feelings through a special sound construction for music being an indispensable part in human’s mental or spiritual life. With the development of music, music teaching has being a more important role in school teaching. However, the traditional music teaching model can not adapt to the new development of the society. According to the National Course Standards, music teachers should respect each students’characters and features, help them to create, arouse them to think and act independently. Meanwhile in teaching, music teachers are expected to focus on the training of ability to appreciate the music art, which ought to be living, wonderful, time-colorful and national-featured. In this process, music teachers also concentrate the students’participant in music practice, which allows various kinds of ways in studying and feeling music. And the aim is to improve the ideas and ability in music creativity so as to like music, learn music, enjoy music all life time. Such aim being effective or not is the effectiveness of music class teaching. Therefore, this paper does the research of effective Music classes in junior middle school.In this paper,it includes introduction, body and conclusion.Introduction part,it introduces the reasons of the research topic and the details of its magnificence both in practice and theory. The related research situation home and abroad is also included in this part. The author makes much analysis and rearrangement of the reference and a complete statement of effective teaching theory is present. The first chapter is the analysis and research of the basic theory in effective teaching, which based on the others’presented theory to make definition of effective teaching, evaluation criterion, and the strategies of effective teaching. Through this process, the author put the national course standards in a central position in music class effective teaching to adapt to the development of fast-peace society. And some effective teaching strategies are given as the foundation of strategies choice, such as emotional appreciation, and creative senses. The second chapter is the research of music class, which introduces the present situation of music class in junior middle school, as well as the effective elements in music teaching on music teachers and students. And the third chapter is the discussion of class arrangement strategies, namely teaching preparation strategies, teaching process strategies, teaching criterion strategies, and class management strategies. According to the three stages in music teaching, proper strategies are given in each stage. In class management, strategies are given especially for management skills, communication between teachers and learners, and class rules and discipline. The last chapter of the paper is the practice of research fruits in natural experiment. The objects are two classes, class Two and class Four, in Grade Eight in Number Six Junior Middle School in Shangrao County. The two was of the almost same level in music at the end of Grade Seven. Under the control variate method, class Two as experiment class and class Four as controlled class, the author makes contrast to the two classes after some effective music class strategies in class Two through questionnaire, and interviewing. As a result, the author gets the conclusion from their learning attitude, learning method, and activity, that is:effective teaching strategies can make students develop in learning results, especially for those between excellent and medium. They have bright improvement in learning interest, learning attitude and met cognition, which is a steady proof of the given strategies helping students learn music knowledge scientificly and effectively, feel music fascination, improve their met cognition. And a feedback of the experiment of music class in junior middle school is necessary for the author is to do better in presenting perfect teaching strategies in music class to fulfill teaching aims.
