Music is an art in which people can convey their feelings and emotions. In the process of appreciating, people can express their feelings and experience human spiritual life. With the continuous development of music education, the specific requirements of the new curriculum standard are gradually improving, which requires teachers to mobilize the enthusiasm and participation of each students while playing as leading roles, and respect the differences existing in each students. In the process of teaching, teachers need to adhere to the core of the aesthetic, scientifically make teaching objectives, choose appropriate teaching content, and actively guide students to participate in musical activities. Teachers need to improve the ability of independent learning of students, deeply dig their creative thinking and improve effectiveness of music learning, so that students can achieve the purpose of "willing to learn","happy to learn","love to learn". And the implementation of specific content required by the new curriculum standards will depend on whether the teaching of music in the classroom is valid or not. Therefore, the practice of researching on the effective teaching in junior high school music class is very necessary.Based on previous studies and combining the relevant literature at home and abroad, this article researches for effective teaching in music class. This paper is divided into three parts in a total, namely introduction, body and conclusion. There are four chapters in the body part. Chapter one is introduction. Chapter two is about’the basic music theory of effective teaching in music class’,which does research and analysis for effective teaching and explains the concept of effective teaching, notions and characteristics of effective teaching in music classes, the theoretical basis of effective teaching and evaluation criteria, the requirements of the new curriculum for the music classroom and so on orderly. The third chapter is abouf "the status of classroom teaching in junior high school music class and analysis of the influential factors of the status" in which it introduces the status of junior high school music classroom understanding, followed by analysis of the factors that influence the effectiveness of junior high school music class. The fourth chapter is about "the investigation of the strategies’ effectiveness of classroom teaching middle school music ", in which the author puts forward some practical strategies conformed to the effectiveness of teaching required by the New Curriculum from teaching strategies, teaching implementation strategies, evaluation of teaching strategies, classroom management strategies these four aspects. The fifth chapter is about "the research of practice of effective teaching strategies in junior music classroom", and this chapter test the theory of the effectiveness of teaching strategies presented in Chapter IV applying the method of natural experiment mainly. The object of the experiment is students in the class ten grade eighth and class fourteen grade eighth of Wuzhong number three middle school in which the author once teached as a trainee teacher. The author carried out effective teaching strategies to class fourteen, using of control variables method and treating class ten as an control class and class fourteen as an experimental class. After the practice of a semester, the author analyzes the data counted up though the method of questionnaires and interviews. We can come to the conclusion:after the implementation of effective teaching, students’score have been greatly improved, the interest in learning is becoming more strong and the attitude more positive, the students learn knowledge actively and effectively and the effectiveness of learning improves significantly analyzed from the students’ interest in learning, learning method, learning, initiative and other aspects respectively. Finally, the experimental results were analyzed with reflection, thereby improving the effectiveness of teaching, promote the comprehensive development of junior high school students.
