As vocational education is an important component of moden national educational system,weneed to accelerate the development of vocational education. The training of high quality, high skilledworkers because vocational school teachers determine the quality of education, vocational school teacherperformance appraisal becomes extremely important.. With the economy development in China, ourcountry has given more and more demands for practical trained people, and the whole society has givenhigher and higher demands for teaching quality in secondary vocational school. and performance appraisalof teachers has become an effective way to understand teaching quality.In this thesis, taking performance appraisal systems of teachers in Henan C Secondary VocationalSchool as an example, the writer did some research on it. At first, the author analyzed the performanceappraisal status by using basic theories on performance appraisal, pointing out the roots of all the questionsexisting in performance appraisal of teachers, such as lack of check target, improper check subject andunfair distribution of check. Then, aiming at the above questions, combining many check methods, such asKPI, Delphi method, overall check method etc. the author improved the performance appraisal systems,worked out check aim and principle, got teachers work instruction, perfected the core system contents ofperformance appraisal, such as check quota systems and the distribution of weight of check quotas. Then,the author discussed the procedure of how to put the new check systems into effect, and pointed out how toensure new systems.The thesis combined theories and pratice,by taking the practical teachers performance appraisalin Henan C Secondary School as an example, it put forward a design plan for teachers performanceappraisal, and strategy of how to put it into practice. It stimulated the vitality of its teachers and gave someadvice for reference for other secondary vocational schools on performance appraisal.
