With the rapid development of social economy,the competition between secondary vocational schools is becoming more and more intense.In the end,it is the competition of talents.The teaching talents have been the basic of the development of secondary vocational schools.To retain excellent teaching talents,we need to have a good management system,and performance appraisal is the most important part of management.Therefore,it is very important to strengthen the performance evaluation management of secondary vocational teachers.This paper takes Tangshan g secondary vocational school teachers’ performance appraisal management as the research object.Using the methods of literature,quantitative analysis and questionnaire survey,this paper studies the performance appraisal management of Tangshan g secondary vocational school teachers.In the form of questionnaire,this paper tries to understand the current situation of performance appraisal management in Tangshan g secondary vocational school from the following aspects: Teachers’ basic information,performance appraisal system,performance appraisal indicators,performance appraisal methods and performance appraisal suggestions.Through the investigation,it is found that there are deficiencies in the assessment management system,assessment management indicators and assessment methods of the performance management of Tangshan g secondary vocational school teachers.The reason is that the leaders do not pay enough attention to the management of teachers’ performance appraisal,the implementation of performance appraisal management system is not effective,and the degree of teachers’ participation in performance appraisal management is not high.Then,the corresponding solutions are put forward: first,improve the management system of teacher performance appraisal,including perfecting the evaluation management system and establishing the leadership and management organization;second,constructing the management system of teacher performance evaluation in Tangshan g secondary vocational school,clarifying the management objectives and principles of teacher performance evaluation,and determining the assessment subject and assessment cycle.The newly established teacher performance evaluation index is composed of five indicators and fifteen sub indicators,namely,teaching attitude,teachers’ ethics,teaching ability,teaching achievements and scientific research achievements.The third is to improve the performance evaluation methods,including setting evaluation standards,taking two-way evaluation,and evaluating the newly constructed index system through evaluation cases.The results show that the new index system can make the management of teachers’ performance evaluation more scientific and reasonable,and help to improve the enthusiasm and satisfaction of teachers.
