| With the transformation and upgrading of the economic industrial structure,the demand for high-quality workers is increasing.Secondary vocational schools are an important part of training skilled talents,and the quality of teachers directly affects the training of qualified personnel.We should formulate a scientific and reasonable teacher performance appraisal scheme in secondary vocational schools to improving teachers’ team building.The teacher performance appraisal has to be effective.Performance appraisal was first applied to personnel management in enterprises,but started late in the field of Education.The theories and methods of performance appraisal specifically for secondary vocational schools need further exploration and improvement.If the performance appraisal is implemented in place,it will not only encourage teachers to bring their potential and value into full play in teaching,but also improve the efficiency of running schools and promote the pace of development of secondary education in China.In order to study the problems existing in the performance appraisal of teachers in Vocational schools,the author uses interview and questionnaire survey methods to study Y school.First,three different interview outlines were designed for different interviewees,they are school leaders,departmental leaders and ordinary teachers.According to the outline,interviewed eight managers,front-line teachers and administrators in Y secondary vocational schools.Secondly,two questionnaires are designed for school administrators and front-line teachers.The questionnaires include the implementation of performance appraisal,problems and suggestions.A total of 52 copies were issued,and 48 copies were recovered.Among them,7 questionnaires were sent out by school administrators and 7 were recovered;45 questionnaires were sent out by front-line teachers and 41 were recovered.Finally,according to the results of the survey,the problems of Y school teachers’ performance appraisal are analyzed and summarized,and some suggestions are put forward.Through the investigation of Y school,the author summarizes the problems existing in the performance appraisal of teachers in Y school from three aspects: the formulation of the appraisal system,the implementation of the appraisal system and the confirmation and application of the appraisal results.The cause of the problem is as follows: The concept of performance appraisal has not been deeply rooted in the hearts of the people,the system is not sound,the results of the appraisal lack of incentives,the lack of supervision and management of the appraisal,the lack of professional training for the appraisal personnel,the lack of in-depth participation of teachers.According to the problems in the implementation of performance appraisal,this paper puts forward some suggestions for the performance appraisal of teachers in secondary vocational schools.One is to establish a "people-oriented" performance appraisal system,the other is to strengthen the systematic management of performance appraisal,the third is to form practical and meticulous performance appraisal indicators,the fourth is to ensure that the results of the appraisal are open and transparent,and the fifth is to supervise and manage the performance appraisal of teachers. |
