The information era has arrived, the application of IT has gone deeply into people’s lives and isquietly changing people’s lives. Education,as an important part of social life, is but also deeply affected byits impact in the event of profound changes, including teachingmanner, forms of organization, educationalideas, patterns, concepts, contents and methods. Using information technology to promote themodernization of education or education information technology has gained recognition and acceptable tous,in which, the material factors and human factors are the two aspects of the process of educationinformation. Because the human factor in this processinitiative, playing an important role of informationtechnology in education, the significance of teachers’ information literacy is particularly prominent.Anyang City is located in the northern part of Henan Province and the Tangyin County andAnyang County being predominantly agricultural and less developed areas can reflect the overall situationof Anyang City in economy and education. The research suggests that the information literacy of juniorhigh school physics teacher are representative and guidance,so the research that Tangyin county and theAnyang county junior high school physics teacher information literacy is on behalf of significance ofAnyang City even the whole Henan Province.Comprehensive study of information literacy, the teacher’s information literacy is, in the processof education information,that the teacher shows the overall quality of IT awareness, knowledge, abilitiesand ethical standards, including information awareness, information knowledge,information capacity andinformation ethics. According to teacher professionalization theory and the teacher as researcherproposition,in this study the teacher’s information literacy is divided into occupational information literacyand research information literacy and research information literacy is that teachers can not be satisfied withdoing a Jiaoshu Jiang but as a researcher with IT ability and quality.The questionnaire and interview outline learn from previous studies, on the basis of the actualsituation of education in the Tangyin County and Anyang County and are finished after test.Questionnaires and interviews involving four aspects: Teachers basic situation, occupation informationliteracy, research information literacy and information technology training. The survey found that Tangyin County and Anyang County junior high school physics teachers are mostly young teachers with juniorcollege education and senior titles, easily to accept new things and have a good potential in terms ofinformation literacy. But they must make hard to improve their information literacy. Mainly in: weakawareness, lack of knowledge, limited ability and moral numbness. For information technology training,whether educational administrative departments or principal have not pay enough attention toinformatization education and teachers’ information literacy training. In addition, the IT training content isvague and monotonous and the actual need of teachers is ignored. The single form of training easily leadsto the conflict of time in teachers’ work, life and study, also without the relevant mechanism of assessment,supervision and incentive.So the training can not play its due role.According to the findings,this study puts forward the solution strategy to solve the aboveproblem: Firstly, investment of school IT infrastructure shoud be increased to enhance the construction ofIT hardware and software; Secondly, teachers should change their ideas,pay great attention to thedeveloping of their own sense of information and enhance the integration consciousness of informationtechnology and curriculum; Thirdly, educational and administrative leadership should take up leadershipresponsibilities for information technology education and take appropriate measures to promote theimprovement of teachers’ information literacy; Finally, according to the actual investigation and the actualneed of teacher, measures shoud be taken to efficiently do a good job in information technology training ofteacher.
