One of basic requirements for "change evaluation function and promote competence-oriented education" is process evaluation. Process evaluation enables to function effectively in evaluation of the incentive, diagnosis and feedback. And evaluation can inspire students, and it also can foster students’cooperative consciousness. Process evaluation will great improve students’information competence and all round development.Based on a large number of documents and papers about process evaluation, this paper discusses the theoretical basis and connotation of process evaluation, and summarizes the research situation of e-portfolios and the application of process evaluation in primary information technology teaching. The main research plan: Making use of the experiment group and control group ANOV model, the author draws a comparison between two equal-level science classes at grade5. At the end of the semester, the attitudes of process evaluation teaching were surveyed by posting anonymous questionnaire. Finally according to the analysis of data, draw a conclusion, and put forward my own reflection and experience.The aim of this paper is to research the practice of process evaluation, in order to promote the development of information technology teaching, improve teaching efficiency, and enhance students’interest and information literacy.
