With the rapid increase of tuition fee, it has been an important problem that ensure the low-income student have equal access to higher education. Various countries carried out a lot of research and exploration on student financial aid system, and accumulated many successful experience. For our country, along with the scale of higher education expanded rapidly, we are in desperate need of learning the advanced experience to perfect the student financial aid system in China.After decades of development, student financial aid system of higher education in Canada has been strongly supported by the federal government, which has various types of financial aid, extensive coverage, standard process of implementation and sound legal protection, it has been a nearly perfect system. The forth part, based on the concluding of status and problems of student financial aid system of higher education in our country, puts forward some relative enlightenments and suggestions.
