Physics is a laboratory-based science. Under the new curriculum idea, the reform of curriculum asks to develop the students’observation and practical ability to improve students’ scientific literacy.Physical experiment is not only an important part of the physics curriculum reform,but also the implementation of the physics curriculum goals. With the rapid development of information technology, the advantage of a variety of teaching methods in physics experiments is more and more obvious. From the perspective of the virtual instrument with Lab VIEW platform, the paper shows the necessity and feasibility of high school physics experiment based on virtual instrument from instructional design.In this article, according to the new curriculum requirements for high school physics experiments, the author stresses the importance of high school physics experiment for the physical sciences. Combination of the domestic and international experimental research background and current physics experiment teaching situation, many problems has been found. The author raises the topic:the physics experiment teaching design based on virtual instrument in the high school. The composition of the teaching itself is teaching and learning, so learning theory and teaching theory constitutes the theoretical basis of this article. After fully learning the concept of virtual instrumentation and composition, according to the design of the virtual instrument system, the characteristics based on the Lab VIEW virtual instrument design have been summed up. And in the specific case, the advantages of virtual instrument-based physics experiments in cultivating students’ innovative ability and self-learning ability.
