Abstract:The Chinese EMBA education has approved since2002, and has experienced for almost a decade. As one of the postgraduate professional degree education, the EMBA education is unique, with its distinctive features in the professional degree education system. With the rapid economic development of China, the EMBA education has also been a rapid development, and adapted to the socio-economic environmen and cultural environmen gradually, and formed its own theoretical system and development of ideas.However, the development path of the EMBA education has not been easy in China. In the first few years of the development, there is a mode of development of copy the foreign EMBA education, and emphasis on the theoretical education and neglect the practical education, and so on. With the development of capabilities of awareness, the EMBA education is gradually moving towards formal, starting to focus on the development of scientific ideas and advanced teaching philosophy, and constantly improve the teacher resources, combined with the advantages of their own school’s strengths, to create the EMBA education brand with their own characteristics.This paper describes an overview of the EMBA professional degree and the development of the EMBA education of China, and then describes the external environment of the EMBA education of China from four aspects, namely macro-environmental analysis, industry analysis, competitor analysis and customer analysis. Then analysis the SWOT strategy of the EMBA education of X University, combined with the theory of strategic management, and draw the advantages, the weaknesses, the opportunities and the threats of the EMBA education of X University, at the same time obtained the strategic positioning and goals of the EMBA degree education of X University in a competitive environment, namely to take the differentiation strategy and target cluster strategy to create the features of the EMBA education system of the X University, to enhance the core competitiveness of the EMBA education of Southwest jiaotong University. The author analysises of the development path of the EMBA education of X University’EMBA from the perspective of strategic analysis, and to explore a development of ideas for the X University’EMBA education, and expect to make some theoretical contribution for the development of the X University’EMBA education.
