"Sunshine Sports" Present Situation And Its Countermeasures In Rural Middle School Of Henan Provience

In December,2006, Ministers of Education and Sports and Central Committee jointly announced On Launching Sunshine Sports for Students Nationwide, requesting that schools of all fields and levels should carry out Sunshine Sports extensively and deeply by combining Standard for Students’Physical Health. As a populated and agricultural province, there are nearly80%students in rural area of Henan, in which the current situation of Sunshine Sports directly influenced the sports level.By adopting documents, literatures, observation, questionnaire, interview and mathematical and logical statistics, the article tries to understand the current situation of Sunshine Sports and problems thus incurred, analyzes the factors influencing the implementation of Sunshine Sports, and at the same time propose counter-measures and suggestions to promote Sunshine Sports in Henan province based on27rural middle schools in Zhengzhou, Luoyang, Shangqiu, Xinyang, and Anyang with different location and economic level.The conclusions are as follows:1、Henan rural school in sunshine sports as the theme of the publicity gained certain achievements;2、Henan rural school in sunshine sports as the theme of the publicity gained certain achievements;3、Rural Middle School of Henan province by holding the winter long-distance race、high school sports and other activities, the sunny sports movement to be able to carry out smoothly;4、Scarce publicity has been laid on Sunshine Sports in rural middle schools of Henan Province, which led to the shortage of awareness among students;5、The current situation in which rural middle school students in Henan Province take part in extracurricular activities is not optimistic;6、The fulfillment of National Physical Health Standard in Henan rural middle schools is not satisfactory;7、The quality of teachers’ staff in Henan rural middle schools is frail;8、The current problems in Sunshine Sports in Henan rural middle schools include the lack of funds, playground, sports facilities and monotonous sport items;9、The process of implementing Sunshine Sports lacks effective evaluation and supervision system.The countermeasures are as follows:1. Publicity and guidance should be enhanced;2. Try to realize One Hour’s Exercise a Day for every student by implementing Students’ Physical Health Standard;3. Mobilize active factors to serve Sunshine Sports;4. Strengthen the cultivation of P. E. teachers’ staff;5. Actively change the current situation by suiting local conditions;6. Perfect management and supervision systems by improving awareness.
