Recently, with the social development of economy and education, There has been aproblem with some unreasonable exchange among the rural teachers, that is,the loss ofteachers, which has led to a sharp drop in the quality of rural education and resulted in theunbalanced development of educaton between areas. Therefore, the problem with the loss ofteachres in rural primary and secondary schools must be dealt with immediately, in order tomake the development of Compulsory education more balanced and maintain the stability ofteachers. This essay puts forward some solutions to the loss of the teachers in rural primaryand secondary schools based on a thorough survey about the current situation, causes andconsequences of several mountainous schools with poor educational conditions in YantaiShandong province.First, current situation of the loss of teacher. In general, there are two aspects of theloss, one apparent, the other recessive. The apparent loss results in many problems such as thebroken state teacheres’ ages, the imbalanced structure of the subjects.the drop of the teachers’qualified certificate and so on. The recessive loss also leads to some trouble including thedislocation of awareness of the teachers’ jobs,Making no efforts to their jobs and spending time aimlessly. So the overall quality of thecontingent of rural teachers and the quality of rural teaching cause have been droppingbecause of the two losses, which deeply affects the popularization of the obligation of theeducation.Second, the influence of the loss of the teachers. The loss contributes to the unreasonablestructure of rural primary and secondary school teachers, the descend of the teaching quality, the wider gap between urban and rural areas, and the teaching differences between thecommon and the key schools. Consequently, this is far from the balanced development goalsof the compulsory education.Third, the causes of the loss of teachers. There are many aspects of this problem. Such aseconomic factors and the non-economic factors (including the construction of software andhardware school, working conditions in the school, the school management, internalrelationships, and the pressure from the teaching work.) And it also has something to do with the social environment and psychological factors. According to the analysis of the causesof the of the loss of teachers, the auther provides a series of strategies to solve the problem.Fourth, countermeasures to the loss of teachers. In order to stabilize the teacher team ofrural schools and stop the loss of teachers, it is hard only for the market regulation andadministrative measures to work.We have to try to improve teacher’s economic income, manage the school more scientifically and create a good teaching environment, But the mostimportant thing is to realize a common community of urban and rural schools so that we cansolve the problem completely by means of improving teach-managing system.
