In current years, rural primary and secondary schools are faced with increasingly severe loss of teachers, which has exerted negative effects on the basic education in the rural areas of China. It is necessary to investigate the reasons for the loss of teachers and propose corresponding countermeasures and suggestions to resolve or ease this problem, as it has theoretical value and practical significance for rural teachers, schools and education sectors.Based on the relevant literature and research at home and abroad, this study will investigate the loss of rural primary and secondary teachers in N County of Hebei Province, aiming to identify the reasons for the teacher loss, explore its negative impact and put forward feasible suggestions on how to solve the issue.The thesis consists of four chapters. The first chapter, “Introduction”, will introduce research background, research actuality, research value and research methods, and explains the core concepts in the article. Chapter two will describe the research methodology of the study carried out in N County of Hebei Province on the loss of primary and secondary teachers in rural areas. Based on the data collected, chapter three will discuss the negative impact of teacher loss, and analyze the reasons for teacher loss from the perspectives of teachers, schools and the nation. Chapter four will provide further discussions on the countermeasures and suggestions, including: increasing teachers' remuneration, upgrading their status, and paying attention to individual needs and development; implementing the people-oriented concept to enhance school management; improving related systems and policies, and promoting teachers' positive flow.
