| The background of the curriculum reform to build efficient classroom teaching is that thecurriculum reform depends on the efficient implementation of classroom teaching. Hence, theconstruction of highly effective classroom teaching is significant. At present questions meetsin the geography teaching of senior high school mainly manifest in:①Teaching goal setting isout of line with the requirements of the curriculum standards and over-reliance on textbookscauses content of classroom teaching and curriculum standards are not in conformity;②It isdifficult to reflect the new curriculum ideas when the classroom efficiency is low in the waythat lectures are still in accordance with the old mode of teaching;③Because the geographyclassroom instruction research are quite few, the degree of integration is limited with the newcurriculum reform, then theories for teaching mode in high school classroom is not yetconsistent with classroom practice;④The shortcomings in classroom teaching manifest inthat teaching methods are obsolete, and teachers do not focus on the reform of the teachingand learning methods, but overemphasize their dominant position and neglect the need ofstudents;⑤The geography study assessment method and the method are unitary,it isembodied in that more emphases in results than teaching process, more in knowledge thanemotion, more in quantitative evaluation than qualitative evaluation, more in assessment thanself-assessment.Geography teaching in senior high school is the context of the new curriculum andinnovative period of change, although nowadays there are many theoretical studies about thehigh school classroom teaching mode, but these theories have been disjointed to practice. Thenew curriculum reform combined with the geography classroom teaching and theories is notrelatively enough. The paper attempts to use new theoretical as guidance for teaching practiceagainst the backdrop of the new curriculum reform, and to explore strategies to build efficientand high school geography class from the usual trivial work, and constantly to improve thetheory in the actual teaching, so that the theory can be closely and really tied with practice tobuild efficient high-school geography classrooms.This paper is divided into four parts. The first part is the research topic. The backgroundof the new curriculum is introduced firstly.The problems of geography teaching in highschool are summed up then by the teacher and the student survey questionnaire, then thepurpose and significance of the proposed thesis research, research methods and ideas also are proposed. The second part focuses on the basic theory involved in this paper. The third part,the focus of this paper, is of the theory and practice, and strategies to build efficientclassroom,such as two major aspects of this section from regulating teachers’ behavior andregulate student behavior, combined with Appendix A Guidance case and using a number ofsmall areas around the high school geography teaching. The fourth part is a summary.Instances are proposed to analyze the feasibility of efficient classroom, two aspects from theteachers teach and students still need to improve and the problems to be discussed.Study methods in this paper include the literature search method, observation, caseanalysis, behavior method, comparative study method and method of interviews. |
