Our society’s economic is developing sustained rapid since reform and opening upin China. Education has entered a track of healthy development. However, in our ruralareas, the development of music education is seriously restricting by the stagnation ofeducation concepts, low quality of teachers, teacher shortages and inadequate fundingfor education phenomenon.Liaoyang is a2400years history of cultural city, but the Liaoyang rural primaryand middleary music education is seriously lagging behind due to the geographicalenvironment factors. In order to be able to resolve the current situation of the ruralprimary and middleary music education in Liaoyang, the spot investigation of musicEducation in Liaoyang county schools has carried out, effective solutions and isproposed.This article focuses on the investigation of rural primary and middleary musiceducation in the curriculum, teaching staff, teaching conditions, music, textbooks,teaching quality, curriculum standard aspects of the research. Mainly includes thefollowing sections:(1) Into Liaoyang country rural primary and middle schools to carry out detailedand comprehensive inspection From Liaoyang County rural primary and middle musiceducation profiles, the status of music education and music teaching quality, studentmusic class expectations, interest and understanding of students’ aspirations, interestsand understanding of music teachers, music teachers and their treatment the six areasand the implementation of new curriculum status of rural primary and middleary musiceducation in Liaoyang County. The firsthand comprehensive, detailed information anddata are obtained.(2) On the basis of in-depth analysis on the findings, pointing out that the oldconcept of education is a human factor restricting the development of music education,music education funding is a serious shortage of an important factor restricting thedevelopment of music education; A small number of music teachers, not high quality isa direct factor restricting the development of music education, music, textbooks single reality factors restricting the education of music.(3) Based on the Liaoyang County rural primary and middleary music educationsituation and according to the actual situation of the rural primary and middlearyschools in Liaoyang County, a few practical development countermeasures are putforwarded. Including changes in the concepts of education to fully understand theimportant role of music education in primary and middleary music education; toincrease government and community support for music education to improve thecondition of music education; improve rural primary and middleary music teachingquality, and carry out a variety extra-curricular activities; the actual local situation, thebuilding of the local music textbooks; to promote music education in primary andmiddleary schools legislation, supervision and evaluation mechanism as soon aspossible measures to ensure the smooth development of the rural primary and middlearymusic education.The status of rural primary and middleary music education to achieve the objectiveand realistic evaluation is set by the investigation of Liaoyang County in rural primaryand middleary school, conducted a preliminary exploration for the development of ruralprimary and middleary music education in Liaoyang County, in order to provide forrural primary and middleary music education research some reference.
