School physical education is an important part of school education, carrying out school sports and implementing physical education teaching process, are the most basic and most important organization form and way to realize the school sports work. Athletic sports teaching materials are one of the main contents, taking a large proportion of middle school PE teaching outline. The implementation of track and field teaching material, to a certain extent,reflects the completion of middle school sports teaching plan and the achievement of the overall teaching quality. The study of the track and field knowledge and skill, will help to promote the students’body shape and each organ system function in harmonious development, improve endurance, strength, agility and other basic physical quality and ability, to cultivate students’brave, indomitable will,it can not be substituted by other sports.Heze city is located in southwest plains,Shandong Province, is a developing city. So far, there are not literatures about the track and field teaching of Shandong province Heze city high school. Therefore, this article based on the related existing literature data, through the questionnaire survey and visit of the four elements, according to students~1physique condition, this paper conducts the evaluation of high school track and field teaching in Shandong province Heze city, with combining the domestic and international development trend of sports teaching, reaches the followingconclusion:The PE teachers in the middle schools in Heze (in Shandong province) can basically meet the demand of teaching, the track and field sports teacher ratio is reasonable, but the female PE teacher ratio is very low, it is very adverse for the puberty of middle students. Little attention of the school leadership in teaching of physical education, lack, of funds and equipment, the normal sports and athletics teaching can not be ensured.The track and field teaching has not completed the teaching task of PE teaching outline, learning time being less than six hours, guaranteed the system of PE teaching quality, track and field teaching content is boring, monotonous, sports teaching method is unitary, the present situation of extracurricular sports activities have not caused enough attention of school.Based on the objective evaluation, teachers, specializing in high quality PE teaching are very few, there exists different level of teaching method stiffness, innovative teaching method deficiencies,being not adapted to the teaching of new curriculum outline, difficulties in the combining usage of modern information technology and track and field teaching.According to the current physical education teaching evaluation standard, the evaluation to Shandong province Heze city middle school present situation of track and field teaching shows:the constraints on track and field teaching are of many factors, particularly what worries us is that the physical quality of Shandong province Heze city high school students have declined, analyzing from the track and field teaching content, sports teaching has a great responsibility, but also puts forward challenge to the school’s track and field teaching reform.To sum up, the suggestions are in the following:(1) Suit measures to local conditions,change teaching concepts, improve teaching level of attention;(2) Increase capital investment, improve sports facilities;(3) Change the competition in the teaching content of physical education, highlighting health;(4) Deepen physical education track and field courses reform, adapting to the era development;(5) Accelerate teachers construction, improve teaching ability of track and field of physical education teachers.
