In recent years, with the rapid development of globalization, international exchanges becoming more frequent, English as an international official language has been taken seriously. In order to accommodate the background of the global child language education reform and the wave of Chinese reform and open policy, the second language learning in Chinese early bilingual education turn to a younger age trend. In1997, the Immersion as an effective second language teaching model was introduced to China and educational cooperation projects between China and Canada, English Immersion, opened up a new path to learn English for Chinese children.I have had the honor to contact with English immersion teaching followed by my tutor and participated in the immersion lessons and discussion activities since2009, I find that I was deeply attracted by the growing charm of English immersion activities. In this research, I join half-day English Immersion teaching to observe and record3teachers who work in the youngest class more than a year, aimed at summering the teaching strategies which were used to help the children in the youngest class to understand English as well as use English. By means of repeated viewing and analysis, combined with English immersion teachers’interviews, I classify strategies which were used in English immersion activities for the youngest children in kindergarten into two aspects:general Strategy and special Strategy. These Strategies consist of Encouraging direct Perception, Positive reinforcement of English response, Weakening Chinese response, Increasing English input in various ways, Five kinds of useful strategies on English immersion activities, Body language strategy, Duplicate strategy, Questioning strategy, The creation of situation strategy, Early reading instruction strategy, Effective use of the random time strategy, and Cooperation strategy between English teacher and Chinese teacher. The conclusions are as follows:1. Common strategies in English Immersion Teaching are effective guidance in the youngest class.2. The special strategies comply with the age level and cognitive level of the youngest children in kindergarten, and they could help youngest children to understand English and use English. Suggestion based on this study:1. Teachers in youngest class should master the basic knowledge of Pedagogy and Psychology.2. Teachers in youngest class should pay attention to some issues when they use the common strategies in English Immersion activities.3. Teachers in youngest class should notice some issues when they use the special strategies in English Immersion activities.
