Educational reform and development of the countries in the world, whose themes have been turned to the teachers’professional development.Whether developed countries or developing countries, they all have taken measures to promote the construction of teachers’professional development.At present, rural teachers below the county level in China accounted for78.54%of the total number of teachers, whose quality directly affects the level of teachers’ professional development in China. At the same time, along with the layout adjustment of the primary and secondary schools, many rural schools became concentrating schools instead of dispersion schools. Centralized running-schools makes people more strong demand for high-quality educational resources, and also high demand for rural teachers. Under the background of teachers’ professional development and centralized school-running, National Middle/Long Term Educational Reform and Development Plan (2010-2020) proposed,"To adapt to the needs of urban and rural development, rational planning of the school layout should be rational planned’’, and required"focus on the rural teachers, improve the overall quality of teachers in primary and secondary schools", as"the most important basic educational work""create a noble morality, business skills, reasonable structure, vibrant high-quality professional teachers."Therefore, concerning on the rural teachers’professional development under the background of the centralized school-running, has an important significance for improving the education of rural education, as well as the whole of China.Base on documental research of teachers’professional development both in and out of the country,through the use of literature study、survey and interviews,the author took Yuzhou city in Henan province for an example in order to find out present situation and causes of problems in rural teachers’ professional development under the background of the centralized school-running. Investigation results show the problems:different career motivation, lack of teacher ideal;low professional identity,people’s expectation to be improved; irrational subject structure, the urgent need for the rational allocation of teachers;vigorous training demand,but unfair opportunity exists; weak awareness of self-development, self-development to be planning; non-urgent teaching innovation need to enhance the innovative;week rural feeling,need to enhance the awareness of as a farmer; mosaic teachers’ cultural, cooperation needs to internalized.According to the analysis of the existing problems of the rural teachers’professional development in Yuzhou, this paper is to start to resolve the reason from three affecting factors which include society, schools and individual teachers. Based on this,this paper seeks to new ideas to promote centralized school-running context of the rural teachers’ professional development from government, the local rural schools and individual teachers.The new ideas are as follows:to perfect the external security system and strengthen supervision in order to put in place; to strengthen rural spiritual civilization and create atmosphere for respecting for teachers;to improve the rural school management and build a cooperative development community; to focus on their own professional features and create the perfect personal charm.
