With the deepening of reform and opening up, China’s overall national strength increased gradually, and gradually became a star on the world’s political, economic and cultural stage, and thus, China’s foreign exchange is also expanding. English as the world’s one of the most widely used language, a language most commonly used in foreign exchange. In the new era, learning English not only to enrich our knowledge in order to enhance our survival skills. We take English as a subject, but also as a communication tool. In order to better foreign exchange, how to better learn and master English in order to enhance the overall quality of our nationals, as well as how to improve the quality of English talents we need to focus on the topic. English teaching in rural schools is an important way to cultivate English talents in an awkward position, but due to the constraints of a variety of conditions, the teaching of English in rural schools, many problems still exist in rural primary and secondary school English teaching, which to some extent, affect the quality of rural English talents, therefore, we need to study the problems in rural primary and secondary English teaching and propose effective solutions.Thesis consists of four parts:the first part of the introduction, mainly to explain the topics of reason, and the significance of the study, Research, research ideas and research methods, a simple analysis and summary; the second part, In South of LiuYang rural primary and secondary schools, the actual survey, a basic overview of this region of rural English education, and summarizes the problems in rural primary and secondary schools in the area of English teaching, such as lack of qualified teachers, student basis, poor teaching facilities; third part of the South LiuYang rural primary and secondary English teaching in the reality of the plight of the rural areas, the concept of education, investment in education-related causes; fourth part of the rural primary and secondary English teaching reform ideas and countermeasures, such as the emphasis on English education in rural areas, increase investment in education in rural areas and building a team of English teachers.
