This research investigates the situation of college teachers’ work alienation, social support, organizational citizenship behavior,trying to explore the relationship between work alienation, social support and organizational citizenship behavior.This article also aims at exploring the influential mechanism from work alienation and social support to organizational citizenship behavior, and exploring the function of work alienation between social support and organizational citizenship behavior. We hope this research can help us to know about the mental mechanism of organizational citizenship behavior and provide some ways to improve college teachers’ organizational citizenship behavior.The Work Alienation Questionnaire (WQQ), Social Support Questionnaire(SSQ) and Teachers’ Organizational Citizenship Behavior Questionnaire (TOCBQ) were administrated to339college teachers in Hu’nan by randomly cluster sampling. The conclusions drawn by this research were as following:First, the degree of organizational citizenship behavior work alienation of college teachers in Hu’nan was above average. There were significant differences on demographic variables, such as gender, age, position and so on.Second, there was significantly positive correlation between organizational citizenship behavior and social support, especially the support availability and objective support of social support,but negative correlation between work alienation and social support, as well as organizational citizenship behavior.Third, social support and work alienation were predictors of organizational citizenship behavior, the support availability of social support positively predicted organizational citizenship behavior, while dilutedness and self-work alienation had negative effect on that.Fourth, work alienation partly played a role of mediator between social support and organizational citizenship behavior of college teachers.
