Higher Vocational Colleges Professional Personnel Training Present Situation Of Golf

Facing with the global economic integration, China’s political, economic stability and development provides a good opportunity for development in the leisure sport---golf. With the thriving development of golf, the demand for golf professionals and jobs is increasing greatly. Aiming at this phenomenon, golf professional education is lifted a climax. China has set up golf specialties since the beginning of1995, and till now, it has nearly one hundred professional golf schools. However, as the increasing requirement for golf professionals, a lot of students can not completely meet the needs of the market after graduation. Consequently, it stimulates the reform of golf education in higher vocational colleges. Therefore, the cultivation of golf professionals in higher vocational colleges should size up the situation, explore and optimize the cultivating mode of talents, cultivate high-quality and comprehensive talents. This paper mainly adopts the literature research method, comparative study method, expert interview method, case study method, logical analysis method to research and contrast the cultivating mode of talents in different higher vocational colleges. Based on the market demand and employment, construct the competence-based and employment-oriented cultivating mode of talents. The talent cultivating mode in higher vocational colleges mainly includes six aspects:establishing the aim of talent cultivation and the leading running-school ideas; according to the market demand and the development of higher vocational colleges, reasonability setting up the golf specialty; optimizing the teaching content to construct the curriculum system for meeting the social needs of the high-quality and comprehensive talents; strengthening the construction of teaching teams; optimizing teaching facilities; strengthening the enterprise-and-school joint running.This paper is divided into six parts. The first part introduces the research background, research significance, the relevant domestic and foreign research, research content and research methods. The second part elaborates the present situation and prospect of golf development in China and the market demand of golf talents. The third part analyses the talent cultivating modes in four domestic colleges. The fourth part summarizes the main problems of talent cultivating modes in golf specialty. The fifth part seeks out a more suitable talent cultivating mode in view of the defect of the present mode in higher vocational colleges. The sixth part is the conclusion and suggestion.
