A Research Of Provide For The Elderly Empty-nesters In The City In The View Of Social Work

Population aging is the inevitable product of the development of social productive forces and the inevitable result of changes in the population. With the intensification of China’s aging population, the development of socio-economic level and the implementation of China’s family planning policy, family size is gradually changed, followed by a rising proportion of empty-nest families, the pension issue of empty nesters families has become a problem existing in our social life which cannot be ignored. The traditional pension of China’s elderly population is dependent on the family pension, with the core of the family, it is clear that the traditional family has not effectively play the old-age function, the development of institutions pension is slow, service quality is not high, fees is high, the family pension and the institutions pension are unable to meet the retirement needs of empty nesters. In such conditions, the status of community service in the pension is becoming increasingly important, community endowment is integrated services which is composed of home, suburbs and community to support older people social life, so that older people are not out of his life and familiar community, receiving services to meet various needs within the community. Community care emphasizes that in the advocacy and support of the Government, to meet the survival and development needs of the elderly within the community, the general low compensation or free service for the elderly.This article mainly selectes the Tianxin as our survey area,surveyes the Tianxin at least60years old and over living alone or cohabiting with their spouses, empty nesters, as well as communities in the elderly services staff, social workers, agencies engaged in elderly service relevant staff, and understands the pension status of the city empty-nesters and the demand for social work services, as well as existing social work intervention in the city empty-nesters situation, combined with the existing policy, data and literature research.This article is divided into four parts. The first part is an introduction. Mainly under the impetus of the now empty nesters pension cannot be guaranteed reality, as well as the particularity of the social work methods, research in the social work perspective on how urban empty nesters endowment has important theoretical and practical significance. The current elderly social work and empty-nesters and international research literature review, while some of the theories of this article, the research methods earried out a detailed description of the content of this study. The second part of the study design. In this section,I put forward the hypothesis of this study to define the study variables, sources of information, sample information and data processing method. In this study, three specific assumptions:First, the existing social work care service involved in empty-nesters pension; existing social work care satisfaction significantly affected; three different types of empty nesters are differences in the demand for social work care service intervention. The third part is the analysis of results. Including social work involved in the basic situation of the pension, the impact of social work intervention on the empty-nesters pension, social work involved in the pension’s basic experience and the main problems. The fourth part is the conclusions and recommendations. The basic conclusion of this study:Firstly, the existing social care service for empty-nesters; two existing old-age social work services involved in the pension status quo of the empty-nesters overall satisfaction significantly affected; three different types of Empty Nest elderly differences in the demand for social work care service intervention. Finally, empty nesters pension under the perspective of social work a few suggestions, including to increase investment in community care of the empty-nesters, empty nesters, the social work team service system and to increase social the work of development efforts.
