Practical Research On Social Work Intervention In The Construction Of Community Mutual Aid Network For Empty Nesters In Urban Areas

Population aging is a real problem that our country must face,and the number of elderly people is increasing.With the change of family concept and lifestyle,the number of empty-nest families continues to increase,and there is a trend of younger empty-nest families.At present,home-based care is still the most important way of care in China.As a special group of people,empty-nest elderly are facing more complex and urgent care problems and needs,and they need the joint attention of the whole society.In this context,community empty-nesters can be advocated to meet each other’s pension needs through mutual assistance.Therefore,it is necessary to build a community mutual aid network for empty nesters in the aging community A.This research takes the empty-nest elderly people in the A community of Q city as the research object.Under the guidance of social support theory and social exchange theory,with the traditional pension culture of the community as the link,using the methods of group work and community work,an empty-nest elderly community is constructed.mutual aid network.First,through household interviews,questionnaires and other forms,the basic situation,pension plight,pension needs,and mutual assistance willingness of some empty-nesters in community A were investigated.After in-depth analysis and evaluation,it was concluded that empty-nesters in community A had health support life services,psychological comfort,cultural and entertainment needs;secondly,the author recruited young empty-nesters in the community to form a "Neighbor praise" elderly mutual aid service team for the elderly through door-to-door invitations and recruitment meetings.22 members were identified based on circumstances,capacity assessment,etc.The author formulated a group plan according to the needs of the emptynesters and the actual situation of mutual aid members,and carried out six group activities successively to achieve the goals of organizational construction and member capacity building of the "Neighbor praise" elderly mutual aid service team.Guided by the needs of the empty-nesters in community A,we lead the "Neighbor praise" elderly mutual aid service team for the Elderly to carry out various mutual aid activities,and provide support services for the empty-nesters in the community at four levels: health,life,emotion,culture and entertainment,so as to meet the needs of empty-nesters.The multi-level pension needs of the elderly.Finally,through the evaluation and reflection of the whole intervention activity,suggestions for improvement are put forward,in order to provide reference and reference for social work to intervene in the construction of mutual aid network in urban empty-nest elderly communities.Research shows that the construction of a mutual assistance network for elderly care can meet the elderly care needs of empty nesters.The social exchange theory explains the internal behavioral logic of community mutual assistance for the elderly in empty nesters.The group work and community work under the guidance of social support theory are conducive to the mutual assistance of empty nesters in the community.Construction of the network.Advocating the empty nesters in the community to meet their respective pension needs through mutual assistance can not only build a social platform for the empty nesters,give full play to their self-worth,gain a sense of social participation,and meet their pension needs,but also provide new ideas for coping with aging problems.Embodies the concept of active aging.However,in this study,there are also shortcomings such as insufficient resource integration and resource linking,inadequate control of details,and the need to refine the intervention of micro-systems.
