The new curriculum points out that “Teachers should encouragestudents to participate in life, to experience life, to concern about thesocial hot spots and to stimulate writing desire during the teaching ofwriting. Try to guide the students to express their true feelings, but do nottell lies and empty clichés and to avoid making the situation only for thetext.” What’s more, since ancient times, there were scholars whostressed that “words are the voice of heart”,“Feelings must betrue”,so,the essay must express true feelings.” However, looking at thesituation of composition teaching, we find the phenomenon of studentsmaking a fuss and affectation in the compositions everywhere. In orderto change this situation, to improve the effectiveness of thecomposition teaching, and to let the composition truly become animportant way that students express their voices and true feelings, Iinvestigate and summarize the type of students’ essay lacking of truefeelings, and analyze the causes and hazards of the true feelings of thestudents essay missing. I mainly analyze the causes and hazards of thelack of true feelings about the students’ compositions, the compositionsof the students calls for the true feelings which are the significance ofthis paper. I will start from the two main parts of the compositionteaching-teachers and students and explore the methods to helpstudents write deep to express the true feelings. How to help thestudents to regain their true feelings is the focus of this paper. I proposethe following solutions:From the aspect of teachers:1Changing the notion of compositionteaching----adhere to people oriented rather than test oriented.2Changing the way of composition teaching----insist the integration ofinside and outside class, reading and writing, and oral composition andwriting composition.3Pay attention to the composition correction work. From the aspect of students:1Changing the notion of compositionwriting----clear that writing the composition is for themselves, and forbetter lives.2To be open-minded and life-oriented.3To be diligent inpracticing and good at thinking.4Fragmentary writing----to catchinspiration and express true feelings.The true feeling return to the students’ compositions has a long wayto go, I hope that this paper can play a valuable role.
