Research Into The Development Of Universities’Public-interested Student Clubs In Wuhan

Universities’Public-interested Student Clubs is the Self-organization of college students who are keen on public welfare, yearn to serve the society and devote their love, and it is the mass organization incorporated in the school related departments, the important component of campus culture, and it is also the effective approach to cultivating students’gratitude consciousness and social responsibility, the important vehicle for carrying out college students’moral education in universities. Especially with the reform of cultural system in our country and the background of promoting cultural development and prosperity, and the whole nation’s increasing attaching importance to the ideological and political education work of college students, universities’ Public-interested Student Clubs is playing a more and more prominent role. However, with the development of times, college students’own characteristics, learning styles and living environment are dramatically changing, it has become an important project faced by ideological and political education workers in universities how to guide Public-interested Student Clubs to adapt to changes, to continually move forward and to exert its education function better.Based on the analysis and comparison of the development of Public-interested Student Clubs in America and Hong Kong, this article carries out an empirical research combined questionnaire survey with case interview. At first, this article analyses the basic situation of development of Universities’Public-interested Student Clubs in Wuhan in the perspective of students’participation, core members of club management, activity operation, management system construction, scale and influence, school support, operation fund sources and the level of socialization of Public-interested Student Clubs, discovering that problems at this stage appear as that core members’qualities of club need to be improved, management system needs to be further improved, material security and policy support are inadequate for clubs to progress, resource allocation seriously lacks integration and so on; Second, influencing factors of Universities’Public-interested Student Clubs’development in Wuhan are analyzed in the perspective of club members, club activities, management guidance, social environment and policy support. At last, aiming at problems at this stage, countermeasures to promote the sustainable development of Universities’Public-interested Student Clubs in Wuhan are proposed:building the support system of club assessment of tripartite linkage, that is, the tripartite linkage of government policy support, universities’encouragement and guidance and creation of social atmosphere; constructing the management pattern of club service of six in one, that is, constructing and strengthening the training of the core members of club, expanding channels of club resources, improving concept of club management, building communication platforms for club, establishing brand awareness of club, reinforcing self-construction of club.
