Today, Chinese Communist Party is celebrating his90anniversary. The passingninety years is actually a struggle history of the Marxism theory combined withChina’s reality. The adhering to the Marxism theory as the guidance of ideologicaland political education is always the political superiority and fine tradition of ourParty, and the guarantee of great importance in new-democratic revolution successand socialist construction. Mao Zedong created theory and methods of ideological andpolitical education in the practice of Chinese revolution and construction process,which in return becomes an efficient tool in our party. MAO zedong’s typicaleducation is one of the important methods in ideological and political education,which played a large role in new-democratic revolution and socialist construction.MAO zedong attached great importance to the typical education; he actively exploredand increasingly summarized the typical education theory in ideological and politicaleducation by himself, and initiated the typical education methods.This thesis begins with necessity research of Mao Zedong’s typical education,based on Mao Zedong’s original work and combined by theoretical viewpoint ofexperts and scholars. The whole thesis is divided into five parts.The first part is of necessity of Mao’s typical education. It discussed Mao’stypical education, which developed according to the ideological and politicaleducation theory covering four aspects of different periods, different tasks, differenteducational objects and different methods.The second part is of main contents of Mao’s typical education. It summed up themain theory, main methods and main approaches by deeper study of the originalwork.The third part is of main functions of Mao’s typical education. It described themain functions of Mao’s typical education to ideological and political education andto popularization of Marxism.The fourth part is of main characteristics of Mao’s typical education. Itsummarized main characteristics in materials selection, promotion by propagandizingand follow-up work of Mao’s typical education, by researching its main contents andfunctions, etc.The fifth part is of practical significance of Mao’s typical education. As theending part, it brought forward the instruction significance to our current ideologicaland political education under the condition of our reality, based on the above research.In the new historical period, it will be the important theoretical direction andpractical weapon in the new age of ideological and political education, by deeperinvestigation and exploration of Mao’s typical education essence and spiritual substance, and widely inheritance and employment of ideological and politicaleducation in scientific methods and effective means. At the same time, with rapiddevelopment of material civilization, the weaknesses of spiritual pursue made lots ofpeople lost their spiritual support. The bad style of the society is prowling by fallingmoral consciousness for a while. The research promotes the contemporary ideologicaland political education; it is the essential requirements of pushing forward effectiveideological and political education, the important guarantee of inspiring people to takean active part in the establishing socialism with Chinese characteristics, the importantapproach of setting up and firming the Marxism beliefs.
