As the reform and opening up and modernization construction of higher vocational education in China, the needs of the higher vocational education in our country has a rapid development, Which as part of the higher education takes responsibility in fostering the first line of the burden of the high-quality practical talents in production, construction, management, service. With the expansion of the scale of higher vocational students and uneven in Matriculate quality of the students in higher vocational colleges, the teaching and management exposed many issues, especially the serious challenges in higher vocational students’ ideological education.The implementation of the credit system put forward many challenges in the ways and methods about the values, status, mechanism, the ways and approaches of traditional students’ideological education, main channel of the ideological theory course has open in Students’ ideological education, although it basically can get security, but the present ideological and political theory in higher vocational colleges, compared with common colleges, there are exist generally "inefficient" phenomenon, where higher vocational students’ideological education face greater pressure problems, more stronger challenge.Taking an example of the Hunan communication polytechnic, this paper analyze the impact of the credit system in higher vocational students to ideological education, as well as explore the characteristics of higher vocational students’ ideological. on the basis of analysis on the existing problems, contradictions and confuse of higher vocational students, according to the students’ ideological education situation and problems under the credit system in Hunan communication polytechnic,it put forward many countermeasures to the work of higher vocational students’ ideological education:Paying attention to the characteristics about the application of credit system of higher vocational school,and enhancing the accuracy and effectiveness of ideological education; Setting up an open system of the ideological education, building new system under the requirements of credit system of higher vocational college students of the higher vocational college students work.
